Concord High School Parent Faculty Club

Concord High PFC meets the second Tuesday of each month from September through
May at 6pm in the CHS library. All fund collected are spent directly in our classrooms
and on programs and events that support our students.

Here are some examples of what we have spent the funds on:

  • Classroom equipment and teaching materials - We have purchased whiteboards and LCD projectors along with many other teaching aids and supplies for the teachers and staff
  • Campus improvements - In the last several years, we have purchased trash cans and picnic tables for the quad area, contributed to the new picnic area for the teachers/staff and contributed to purchase a new copier for the copy room.  In 2011, we contributed $10,000 for the Computer Lab.
  • Hospitality - The PFC plans special events throughout the school year to thank our teachers/staff for all they do.
  • Student Awards - Perfect Attendance and 4.0 Scholarships.
  • Support CHS clubs such as Model UN, Odyssey of the Mind and Link Crew.
  • Support Every 15 Minutes Program
  • Combine our funds wit the other MDUSD high schools to provide a College Fair in October for our students to attend.  
  • The PFC assists the staff with Walk-Through (Registration) each year.
